# Create a Red Envelope(RE)

You can create a Red Envelope, pack it with $RICH Runes, and share it with Groups or Friends!

In the **RE Dashboard**, click “**Create RE,**” or type <mark style="color:red;">**/create**</mark> in the command line and the bot will return the following instructions:

*Let’s break down the above instructions —*

## **Create RE command:**

<mark style="color:red;">**/create \[amount] \[number]**</mark>

**➡️**For example, <mark style="color:red;">**/create 500 5**</mark>

This creates 5 Red Envelopes containing a **random** amount of Runes each, totaling 500.

💡Adding the **F** flag creates Red Envelopes containing a “fixed” amount of Runes in each Red Envelope.

**➡️**For example, <mark style="color:red;">**/create 500 10 F**</mark>

This creates 10 Red Envelopes with exactly 50 Runes each, totaling 500.

✒️You can also add a message of up to 140 characters to the Red Envelope (even emojis)!

## Example 1: Fixed Amount <a href="#id-7153" id="id-7153"></a>

Let's create a Red Envelope with a Fixed amount of Runes in each pack.&#x20;

I typed: <mark style="color:red;">**/create**</mark> <mark style="color:red;">**1000 20 F**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.</mark>

This means I created <mark style="color:red;">20</mark> Red Envelopes with a total of <mark style="color:red;">1000</mark> Runes.

The amount of amount of Runes in each Red Envelope is Fixed at 50, and the gift message is:&#x20;

<mark style="color:red;">Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.</mark>

Here is what it looks like when people SNATCH my Red Envelope.&#x20;

Notice that each Red Envelope contains a **Fixed** amount of Runes...

## Example 2: Random Amount <a href="#id-3b4d" id="id-3b4d"></a>

Let's create a Red Envelope with a Random amount of Runes:

This means I created <mark style="color:red;">50</mark> Red Envelopes with a total of <mark style="color:red;">2000</mark> Runes.

The amount of Runes in each Red Envelope is **random**, and the gift message is:&#x20;
